Hello, my name is Olivia Weber!
I am a student at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. My major is Digital Media Innovation and Mass Communication. This is my second year at the University and I am excited to see what this semester holds. I created this blog as part of an assignment for my Fundamentals of Digital and Online Media, also, known as FDOM. Starting a blog is something that is very new to me, but I look forward to challenging myself and gaining a new perspective on the world of bloggers. For my blog, I will be focusing on fitness and physical well-being.
Why I chose this
I believe that fitness is a crucial part in maintaining a healthy state of mind. There are so many benefits to staying active, such as combating health conditions, relieving stress, and boosting energy. Forewarning, I am not a health expert or a fitness trainer, but I do think there are some things that I can share. Exercising is both physically and mentally challenging. This blog is going to explore both of those things.
What I hope to explore
The basis of my posts will be centered on how to stay active and motivated. I will be sharing tips for beginners, exercise ideas that you can do at home, and much more. It will also include posts about finding affordable workout attire and gear! I hope to encourage and motivate others into a lifestyle of well-being, whether that be physical or mental.
I hope to be able to create a space for anyone and everyone. I want to be able to expand from Texas State students and reach people of all ages. I want this blog to be more than informative. It needs to be relatable and a place where everyone feels welcome.
I intend to post weekly on here and will also post updates on my Twitter. As for content, each post will consist of links that will provide more information that is relevant to whatever is discussed. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you enjoy!
